First Vet Visit

Our Emerald x Kraken puppies had their neonatal checkup yesterday, Oct 1 2026. Everyone looks great, with no hernias, cleft pallets, or any other concerns. They quickly settled in and fell asleep on the exam table while their siblings were examined. We also picked up their dewormer for the next few weeks and set a date for their first set of vaccines and microchipping! It's important to have an early vet visit to look for any congenital issues and establish care in case any of them need to see a vet for an injury or illness. Our puppies will be dewormed on weeks 2, 4, 6, and 8, have their first combination vaccine + bordetella vaccine at 7 weeks old, and will be microchipped before going home.
