Prepping for the Emerald x Kraken litter to arrive!

Emerald's due date is quickly approaching! Dogs are pregnant for 63 days, counting from the day of ovulation. Since we used our in-house stud for this litter, we stopped progesterone testing once they had a successful tie. Give her numbers that week, we're estimating she ovulated on 7/22, putting her due date at 9/23! Earlier this week she had a puppy count x-ray to get an accurate count of how many puppies we should be expecting, as well as to make sure they are not too big to fit through her birth canal. Our vet counted 7 good-sized puppies!
